We have also now replaced the cambelt in line with our recommended interval below.
A change in manufacturer recommendation (July ‘23) removed the 5 year interval for cambelt changes on all VWG cars, leaving a mileage-based interval of 140,000 miles for most vehicles. As an independent specialist workshop, Quattro Tech are recommending a 7 year or 100,000 mile change interval (whichever comes first) on all cambelts and this is the schedule we use when preparing vehicles for sale through Quattro Tech Cars.
